Our room is on the nearest corner, below the roofline, above the balconies, 3rd or 4th floor depending on where you are from. We had a sort of mini suite, so the windows in the gable end are ours, plus the first two along the hotel frontage Feeble attempt to capture a ferry at night! If you want to see them in the right order, then please start from the end - you know it makes sense!!!!! This was an interesting holiday from the viewpoint of spectacular thunderstorms and an earthquake which shook the place quite hard!! None of this is reflected in the photos of course, just thought I'd give you some background, round out the picture, sort of thing !!! This was also the first use of our new camera, so there are some instances of the 'same photo' appearing - do not be alarmed, or denigrate our skills. Just trying things out, don't you know. Now, you can't have a Smiffy holiday without a sunset photo, can you? Pete in Mr Universe mode There's a frog on there somewhere!!! Jan dodging the rain showers in harbour side cafe in Skiathos. Seemed like too good an opportunity to get a cold Mythos to me The Korali Beach, brochure style We are in the ground floor apartment. Convenient , or what? Our apartment again!! The usual suspects Now this guy is really embarrassed !! Oh how we capture the excitement of the ring of fire!! Jason & Louise strut their stuff What is a holiday if you don't get the chance to be totally embarrassed? Here's ours, together with our friends from the Korali Beach hotel. And, no, thats not me in the middle. How unfortunate that the girl in the thong floated into shot!! Actually, I think Jan took this one, and never noticed This is me playing with our new camera, trying to work out what the different settings do by taking the same picture 3 times, but with different settings. Wish I could remember what they were!!!!! Troulos Beach, our local facility. More to follow shortly. Assorted views of and from Troulos Beach, a hefty 1 minute stroll from our apartment The first time we went to the beach, the sand reached the top step here!! Note the intrepid explorer pondering her options. Following 3/4 days of very heavy rain, this is the path form our apartments to the beach, now converted to a raging torrent. Imagine the bravery of that guy in the photo!! Jan's big art moment with the camera. Did she get carried away , you may well ask as you page through the next few photos This is where Jan got hold of the camera. You can tell by the variety of the next few shots.(or the previous shots, if you get what I mean)
